Further to road safety concerns from local residents about Heavy Goods vehicles contravening the weight restrictions on Marshfield Avenue, Pyle, local businesses on the Industrial Estate have been attended and the issue has been discussed. Drivers have been reminded of the weight restrictions and informed of the enforcement actions that will be carried out by South Wales Police if these restrictions are contravened.

Hopefully this will result in a reduction in larger vehicles using this route.
